“What Do You See?” is an abstract mixed media collage and let me tell you I see a colourful mermaid’s tail but that might not be what you see. Tell me what you see in this playful and energetic abstract collage.

Created on a wood panel the first step was to create a colourful abstract design on paper. Once that step was completed I took white watercolour paper and that beautiful finished abstract and ripped it up to create this spirited design. The entire surface of the wood panel is covered in paper. The colourful parts are my abstract work.

Materials used: watercolour paper, mixed media papers, acrylic paints, inks, pencil, drywall tape, wood panel, matte medium, Mod Podge, wire for the back and sealant
