"Verdant Expressions" is a collage I created out of the need to stick with a specific colour palette and I chose green to be that colour. I wanted to see how the different shades of green could be torn and interwoven together to create this rich green abstract design. The greens make me think of my walks in the forest, the green grass of summer and lush meadows.

This collage is composed of a variety of hand-torn abstract papers created on mixed media and watercolour paper with the intent of them being ripped up and added to the final piece. These torn fragments are artfully arranged and layered, creating a multidimensional effect that adds depth and texture to the piece. The torn edges of the papers introduce an element of organic irregularity, mirroring the unpredictability of nature itself.

As with all my original art, this piece will arrive to you sealed and ready to hang.
