As each torn piece of abstraction layers the next a connection is made. We are all connected, our energy, happiness, and personal growth.
To have genuine connection with people we need to truly be ourselves and allow people to see our spirit. Creating texture within my art using torn papers replicates authentic connectivity as the bumps along the layered torn paper represent the good and not-so-good moments in life.
