Who doesn’t love a burst of sunshine? That, for me, is exactly what this piece is all about. The joy and playfulness of this bright and cheery mixed media collage reminds me of sliced oranges, summertime, and the glorious warmth of sunshine!

My process involves creating abstract works on mixed media and watercolour papers. Once I have completed the abstracts on paper I then have fun tearing them up and arranging them on wood panels in abstract designs. Yellow and orange was the theme for these abstract designs so that I could create this vibrant and sunkissed collage.
