This original mixed media collage is such a heavily textured and interesting piece that will have you looking at it and seeing different elements all the time. Its subtle colour is composed of several different pieces of my abstract work on paper collaged along with white watercolour paper to create this spirited original collage.

Created on a wood panel the first step was to create a colourful abstract designs on paper. Once that step was completed I took white watercolour paper and that beautiful finished abstract and ripped it up to create this playful design. The entire surface of the wood panel is covered in paper. The colourful parts are my abstract work.

Materials used: watercolour paper, mixed media papers, acrylic paints, inks, pencil, drywall tape, wood panel, matte medium, Mod Podge, wire for the back and sealant
