Imagine a world led by love over fear, peaceful and with hope. We are taught to love ourselves, seek peaceful solutions, and have hope. Yet the world seems in chaos, and many forget kindness and acceptance, and to lead with a loving heart. What a world it would be if it were led by love.
I used acrylic paints for the background of this piece, and, as with all my art, I painted on paper first and then tore it up to create the heart. Pieces of torn canvas were added for texture and fun. Love is very textured after all.
This original artwork was created on a handmade wood panel. There is a rustic element to it, with visible imperfections, which adds to the fact that love isn’t perfect; it can be bumpy and full of character.
