The heart is the connection to life; it is textured and full of colourful pathways that allow us to breathe, feel and see each day. This heart is created with life and hope for better days. I hope that when you pass by this heart hanging on your wall, you see your life and are reminded of its colour and to be grateful for all you have in the moment.
I used acrylic paints for the background of this piece, and, as with all my art, I painted on paper first and then tore it up to create the design on this wooden heart. Pieces of torn canvas and drywall tape were added for texture and fun. Love is very textured after all. The edge of this wooden heart has been painted a dark blue. There is a shadow frame on the back to make the panel sit a total of 1.5" off the wall.
This original artwork will arrive signed, dated, sealed, and ready to hang for a lifetime of enjoyment. I have stamped each original with a Certificate of Authenticity.
