The Torn Edges of Life Are Beautiful
Mixing the bits and pieces of art and life
I love bringing flowers to life. I love the starting point and never really know how they will turn out.
I love the bumps of paint and creating the centres and bringing character to each petal.
This winter white floral was created with hints of yellow trying to bleed through the white.
I created this flower while snow was gentle falling outside and I was dreaming of warmer days.
Whether for your walls or your bedding this design will suit any of your home decor needs.
I had the amazing opportunity to chat with Louanne Midgley of Tell Your Stories Videos about how I started my art business and how it has changed over the years. If you have an interest take a look at the video below:
My art was chosen to be part of the Capturing Moments: Chronicling Our Lives exhibit at Place des Arts in Coquitlam, BC and I couldn't be more thrilled. This was such a meaningful and fun project to participate in and I am so excited and proud that my art was chosen to be part of history. Here is the artist interview I participated in.
Scattered Times reflects how time is so scattered these days and moving quickly and yet it feels stuck at the same time.
Prints of this image is available on both my Society6 and Redbubble platforms. You will also find this design available on various products from framed art, clothing, artsy face coverings, puzzles and more.
In many places these days mask like face coverings are required. This is a sign of the times for right now. While in the midst of a global pandemic many of the comforts of what was such as: coming and going whenever you felt like it, going out to work, hugs, talking to people in close proximity and touching your face - these are things we are no longer suppose to do.
What we are doing is washing our hands... a lot, going out in public less, staying 6ft apart from anyone the best we can and eating a lot of bread.
These fun face coverings are a fun way to express your style and will replace lipstick for the time being. I mean, you could still wear lipstick but when you take the mask off you could have a totally different look which may not be what you were thinking.
Floral masks, abstract, some that simply say hello are all available in my Redbubble store. The best part is often when you buy in bulk you save money! To shop masks click HERE

All greeting cards are 5"x7" and come blank on the inside so you can write your own meaningful message. Envelopes are included so all you really need is a pen.

Cuteness Alert: These mini art prints are just sooooo cute!! I love them. For $15 you can own one of these adorable 3"x4" art prints and the little wooden stand to hold it up. OR, if you want to create your own look with a few assorted minis you can do so for $6 per print. This is a super affordable way to add a wee bit of art to a space without breaking the bank!
These wonderful minis are also available framed!! So, you can pick and choose your favourite frame colour and it will arrive at your door ready to hang or stand wherever you choose! How fun! Each mini print is still 3"x4" and comes fully framed for $25 plus shipping.
For my Canadian buyers, I highly recommend waiting for Society6 to issue a coupon code and/or free shipping to make the exchange a little less pricey!
