Amanda Todd Legacy Auction
The Amanda Todd Legacy Auction is a special auction to me. I have been creating original art for it since it began after Amanda’s death.
Many people don’t know that I saw Amanda’s now-viral video before the world did. It was shared with me because of its uniqueness, creativity, and message. I told the person who shared it how powerful it was and that I felt it would absolutely go viral. I had no idea it would go viral for the reasons it did. It stuck with me.
I had recently volunteered at CABE, the school Amanda had been attending before her suicide, so the effect of her death was especially impactful. I was connected with Amanda’s mom, Carol, almost immediately.
I sent her some art I had made and later heard that it was displayed at Amanda’s Celebration of Life. Carol and I had many late-night chats as she dealt with life after Amanda, and my support for Carol and her legacy initiative will always be special to me.
The 2026 Amanda Todd Legacy Auction is now live. This year’s original is made from torn paper, all torn, painted, and assembled by me!
