The Torn Edges of Life Are Beautiful
Mixing the bits and pieces of art and life
![]() I watched a documentary the other day on youths sentenced to life in prison. It was a concrete wall outside the prison walls that inspired my newest art. The wall was a mix of different shades of whites, greys, cracks, creases and marks. A teenage boy, sentenced to life, stared at this wall every day. It made me wonder if he ever created images using the texture and cracks on the wall. Did he tell his secrets to the wall? Did this boy put up walls of protection? What I knew for sure was ... love lives beyond these walls. Prints will not be available for this piece. This original can be found here.
