The Torn Edges of Life Are Beautiful
Mixing the bits and pieces of art and life
![]() Father's Day is coming up fast, in fact it's on Sunday, June 15th. Have you got your Dad a card or gift yet? There is so much buzz over Mother's Day it seems that Father's Day doesn't seem to get the same attention. I have been lucky to have a truly awesome Dad. In fact, the card to the left was created for him. My Dad growing up was very involved in my life and whenever he would say, "I love you" I would always reply, "I love you more..." In my 40s although I don't see him that often I still feel the same way. Here are some other Father's Day cards and if you have a Dad who keeps a journal here are a couple more masculine journals I have in my collection. Now, here's another idea for you. How about YOU keeping a journal, a collection of every day thoughts about either your Mom or your Dad and then next year present it as a gift. My agendas are perfect for that type of journaling as there is no "start" day but just enough room to jot down a few words. Is your dad a rockstar, either literally or just an all around awesome guy? If so, here is a great card just for him! Does your Dad inspire you to do great things? Does he live his life in such a way that makes you feel tremendously proud to be his child? Let your Dad know you find it him inspiring with this fabulous card. Has your Dad got the strength of twenty people put together? Has he been through a lot that it's often surprising he has managed so well? Does your Dad's strength of character shine like a light on a dark day? This Father's Day, let him know that you see all that he stands for especially his huge heart. For the Dad who keeps notes and/or journals check these out:
