![]() The process always starts with a vague idea of how I want something to look. The final version is almost always totally different from where that first idea sparked. In this case the design was created around words. I had thought of he initial words, but as often happens in the stamping out the words process, the words changed. My words often change at this phase; much like the art that changes during the early stages. Both evolve, the full design, the idea, it all evolves. What remained the same was the meaning behind the piece. The intent of the piece remained consistent. In this world of social media likes and everyone trying to fit in to some sort of mold being different is still hard. Don't be afraid to be different, to stand out if that's who you are. Just because everyone else is making stuff out of pallets doesn't mean you have to. Just because acrylic pouring is the new trend doesn't take away from your specific work. T
