Sometimes it's hard to imagine just how an image will look framed or how to frame it. I prefer prints, whether photographs or art, to be framed with a white mat. So if you buy and 8"x10" print from somewhere (me) and were wanting a mat you will need an 11"x14" frame. Prints are great because you can change them up and around your home without adding a huge expense. I offer two difference sizes in prints and the price range is $20-$25. For larger sizes my Society6 shop can create a variety of sizes as well as framed on canvas,
When you create art while listening to love songs, it can look a little something like this:
I love how my art can be transformed into products. There is nothing more satisfying than creating art and then having the ability to watch it turn into a pillow or a duvet covet or a shower curtain. There are so many possibilities. I have been creating up a storm and have created some lovely designs that look great on pillows, tote bags, duvet covers and move. Have a look below and click the pictures below to see more designs.
With all the negativity in the news these days and the difficulties others face in our own communities I am just so grateful to live where I do. I feel so lucky to be able to have the freedom to be me and do all the things I enjoy. We take for granted so many things and it's important to be grateful for all we have. The original of this design has sold but prints are available here.
Celebrate birthdays with this beautiful new birthday card which is sure to bring a smile!
I was edging this new original with black paint and loved how the shadows from the sun made it look as though this image was outside a window. The shadows from the screen on my window in my art room created a cool texture on the canvas as well. Shadows are an art form of its own.
This original is not yet for sale online but there is a birthday card with this image available here.
I am hoping you all know that your art, whether it's a framed print or an original does NOT have to match your furniture. I am sure if you are one of those people who likes all white and beige then you may not be fond of what I just typed. That said, if you live in a world of colour with a love of different patterns and design then you likely already knew that art doesn't need to match your furniture. I have added my original piece called Aztec Dreams to this room scene as an example. It looks great; and, each piece stands on it's own as being amazing. Be daring and don't be scared to embrace colour and patterns.
