The Torn Edges of Life Are Beautiful
Mixing the bits and pieces of art and life
![]() When My daughter was born someone asked me what I wanted her to be when she grew up and I said "happy". The person looked at me and said, "No... really, what do you want her to be ~ like a lawyer or a doctor?" And I said it again "Happy". As much as he was baffled by my answer, I was baffled by his confusion because of my answer. Why wouldn't you want your child to be happy? Isn't that the most important thing? Living a life you want to live creates happiness. Being stuck in the box someone builds around you is stifling. If you are happy then chances are you are doing what you want to be doing and living a full life. For me, that's what I want for my kids.
So... here is a card designed as a keepsake, to be given to the momma welcoming her sweet baby girl into this world...
